Information on how personal data is processed on this website.
Note: This is an English-language translation of our German privacy policy. The German version remains the legally binding text.
General
As the operator of this website and as a company we come into contact with personal data. This refers to all information that says something about you and by which you can be identified. In this privacy policy we explain in which way and for which purpose we process data. The decisive law is the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).
Responsible for the data processing on this website and within our company is:
Custom Maid GmbH
Badenerstrasse 808

SSL/TLS encryption
This website is provided exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. You can recognise the encryption by the lock symbol in your browser and the fact that the address begins with https://.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostpoint. The provider is Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. When the website is called up, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data, in particular IP address, time of access, files requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. These data are required to provide the website securely and reliably.
Hostpoint additionally analyses the resulting server log files with its in-house statistics software Logaholic in order to create aggregated and anonymised access statistics (e.g. visitor numbers, popular pages, countries of origin, browsers used). No cookies are set and no personal profiles are created. The data is processed exclusively on servers in Switzerland.
Order processing by third parties (bexio)
For quotation, order processing, invoicing and accounting, Custom Maid GmbH uses the software bexio from bexio AG (Switzerland). As part of this business processing, customer, order and invoice data are processed and stored in bexio. In this respect bexio acts as a processor within the meaning of the revFADP.
In addition, the privacy policy and general terms and conditions of bexio AG apply, available at www.bexio.com/de-CH/richtlinien.
Getting in touch
When you contact us by e-mail, telephone or via the contact form, we process the information you submit in order to handle your request. This may include name, e-mail address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
The contact form on this website is processed directly on the Hostpoint server in Switzerland (PHP script contact-submit.php). When you submit the form, the information you entered together with your IP address and a timestamp is sent by e-mail to info@custommaid.ch. No data is forwarded to third parties. To protect against automated requests (spam) we use an invisible "honeypot" field and a time-limited rate limit per IP address. The IP address is stored exclusively for spam prevention purposes as a hashed entry on the server for a maximum of one hour and is then automatically deleted.
Job applications
When you apply for a position with us, we process the submitted application data exclusively for the purpose of processing the application and deciding on the establishment of an employment relationship. Within our company your data is only disclosed to persons involved in processing your application.
Cookies, tracking and Google Analytics 4
Images, icons, CSS and JavaScript on this website are loaded locally from this web space. No external fonts are loaded.
For audience measurement we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google processes usage data on our behalf in order to create anonymised statistics about the use of this website (e.g. pages viewed, approximate geographic origin, device used).
We use the Google Consent Mode v2: when you first visit this website, all analytics and advertising cookies are denied by default. Analytics cookies are only set after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. We have additionally enabled IP anonymisation. Without your consent, only anonymous, aggregated hits (so-called "cookieless pings") without personal identifiers are sent to Google.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies of this website in your browser — the banner will then be shown again on your next visit. Further information about Google's data processing can be found in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
External links and social networks
This website contains links to external profiles and services, in particular Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and Google Maps / Google Reviews (Google Ireland Ltd.). Only when you click on these links do you leave our website, and data (in particular your IP address) is transmitted to the respective providers. The respective providers are responsible for the data processing on their platforms.
Your rights
Under the applicable statutory provisions, in particular Art. 25 et seq. revFADP, you may request information about the personal data we process about you, as well as the correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of your personal data. To the extent that processing is based on consent, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.
Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. General enquiries are deleted as soon as they have been finally processed and no statutory obligations preclude deletion.
For business records (quotations, order confirmations, invoices, business-related correspondence) the statutory retention period of 10 years pursuant to Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations applies. These data are stored until the end of this period and are then deleted.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if technical, legal or organisational conditions change.
